Temples by Joyana comes from years of being a portrait and wedding photographer with Treasured Photos by Joyana. While still loving working with amazing people, the passion behind the lens added the element of photographing LDS temples. I wanted to bring you something different but still classic. The entire project had you in mind; what can I bring you that would help you feel peace in the ever-growing times of chaos? 

I made a plan, a little crazy, and an offbeat one at that. Among many plans, I saved flight points, flew to portrait clients to work then captured temples, took classes, started collaborations, slept less, got support and love from the family + the list goes on [I mean it's long...really long]. All of this has allowed me to start here and bring excitement for so much growth. 

God has given me many trials in life to learn from, we've all had that 'blessing' right? This journey has helped me + hopefully you to embody the beauty of the temple + the peace we can feel through any part of our lives; especially the times when maybe the temple isn't our favorite place to go. One of my treasured moments was sitting outside a temple on a stone bench enjoying the warm sun, the light wind + watching people go in + out of the temple, hoping they too are following their passion.
